Staff Paper App Reviews

This is a great app for composers who already use Sibelius or Finale for the finishing of their work, but who just need an easy and quick way to grab some fresh paper when theyre out and jot down sketches for works in progress while theyre sitting at the piano. For any serious composer, theres nothing like good old pencil and paper for working out initial ideas. I do recommend this app!

...but one more feature would make the app basically perfect - There should be an option to delete the top line of each sizing in order to create a title page.

It does what it says it does (not what I thought it did) so therefore it must earn an "acceptable," though neutral rating. Does anyone pay for staff paper anymore? Shame on you. There are other, free, web-based staff paper sites that do FAR MORE than this little app does. If youre going to be near a printer anyway, I think chances are pretty good youll also be near a web-capable computer -- in which case you should print your staff paper from the web rather than from this (largely) useless app. If I "had" a pen or pencil when I needed an app to write down a few notes, I would have just scribbled out 5 lines myself on a piece of scratch paper. Somebody please write a music notation entry app for iOS devices! Were not talking Sibelius or Finale here -- just something simple!

Really useful app

I try to open it, but it crashes right when I press it.

Well, I was actually looking for an app that I could write notes and everything on staff paper. This is a good app, just not what I was thinking it was. Maybe advertise it differently...

I have No Idea how to use it.... I tried pressing everything!!! HELP!!!

I can just print it off website with blank staff paper on it if I really needed to. Waste of space

This app is great! Although I would consider add a tablature option for guitar, bass and five string bass. Other than that it is an awesome app.

I use it with pia score a PDF score reading app on my iPod to write notes on the staff paper.

I thought it was a kind of drawing app with staff, but it was just a staff paper maybe for printing out.

So I downloaded this thinking it was more when it is not, if you want music notation software look up an app called "score creator" and it is a music writing notation, not as good as professional ones but its still is amazing for in the go music writing.
